FUTO MAY INCREASE ITS SCHOOL FEES FOR 2015/2016 SESSION

This is to inform all students of the Federal University of
Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and the general public that the
University Management has not approved any increment in
school fees for the 2015/2016 academic session. However,
in view of the challenging and ever increasing cost of
running the University, Management is considering a
marginal review of the charges on some of the services
offered to the students. If and when this is done, the
students and all stakeholders will be duly informed through
the appropriate channels of communication in the
University.
The University Management therefore urges our students
and the general public to disregard rumors of the purported
increment in school fees currently in circulation.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka has
released the 2nd batch admission list of candidates
admitted into her different undergraduate programmes
for the 2015/2016 academic session.

The first choice admissions are to be guided by JAMB
approved admission criteria as follows:
(a) Merit (RM): Here about 20 best
candidates may be selected per programme except in
Nursing Science where only 10 best
candidates are to be selected.
(b) Locality/Catchment (RL): Two best candidates
from each of the 13 Federaly recognized Local
Government Areas of Anambra State shall be
selected from programmes/departments whose
quota is NOT MORE THAN 100 while 3 candidates are
to be selected from programmes/ departments whose
quota is MORE THAN 100. In programmes where less
than 26 candidates with the
acceptable score for the programme are listed,
all Anambarians within that range/ score shall be taken
after the general merit of 20 or 10 as the
case may be.
(c) ELDS: Educationally less developed states shall be
discretionally applied if constraints
of the 2015/2016 NUC quota and prevailing
imperatives within UNIZIK as a federal university
permits.
(d) Physically challenged candidates with acceptable
minimum UTME (JAMB) score are
to be accorded preferential admissions privileges even
without evidence of participation in UNIZIK Post
UTME;

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has
announced the resumption date of students of
the university for the 2015/2016 academic
session. All students of the university are hereby
informed.
The management of UDUSOK hereby wishes to
inform all students, members of staff: academic

as well as members of the general public that
academic activities for the 2015/2016 academic

If you are going to the Nigeria’s National Youth Orientation (NYSC) Camp soon after you have known your NYSC Posting through your call-up letter, then there are some important documents and items you must take along – these are the NYSC Orientation Camp requirements we are talking about. Failure to go with them will deny you participation in the orientation course. NYSC Camp Registration Requirements: These are the requirements for registration at NYSC Camp, you need to take care of this first before you start thinking of what to eat, what to wear, etc. Make sure you have them before you embark on your journey.
