COMPREHENSION

First of all, let me make it clear that, Allah does not accept any religion except that which is sincerely devoted to Him while seeking His Pleasure. Allah Says (what means): "Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion.[Quran 39:3].

Furthermore, the Prophet  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam (may  Allah exalt his mention) said: “Actions are indeed judged by intentions.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] Therefore, whoever embraces Islam for the reason of marrying a man or woman and the like, then Allah does not accept his /her Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) and will not accept as a believer but in this worldly life, he should be treated (by people) as a Muslim unless he shows something contrary to this [to the religion of Islam].

It should be noted that a person may embrace Islam for a worldly purpose, but soon Allah opens his or her heart for the religion of Islam, and then he or she becomes a good practising Muslim and through that his or her shahaadah becomes valid. So basically we must avoid such marriages till we are sincerely sure the person has studied the deen well, satisfied with Islam as the only religion acceptable to Allah  and start practising without trying to please his or her partner in love before he or she should be accepted for the marriage to go ahead. And Allah alone Knows best. May
Allah keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

SUMMARY. .....

The announcement on 2011 that the world population had hit seven billion mark seemed to have waken many people surprise. Many people wondered how humanity could have grown by a billion in within two decades. However, anyone convenient with factors that have prompted the rise in human growth should understand this phenomical increase. The factors that have prompted the rose of population.
To begin with, think of the health facilities as compared to centuries earlier with now. Mans knowledge of medical care was appuling years ago. Today with medical centers within easy reach most people and the drugs available to combat virtually all forms of diseases, death rate has been drastically reduced while life expectancy has risen significantly in most countries. This has carried  the great reduction in infant mortality and subsequently increased the number of senior citizens..
Similarly, there is the vital role of education . The spread of education has created a great level of awareness about welfare and health. Even primary School pupils know the dangers of drinking unwholesome water, living in an unclean environment and ignoring simple rules of hygiene. Besides education has deflated the various myths and superstition that  persuaded our fathers lives.
Neutrino is also a significant contribution. As agricultural practices continue to be added by serious research efforts, and as tools for farming the land continue to be more available food supply has been greatly enhanced in an unpresented way. Today, more food crops can be available on less land area than was the case. Thus, the monster of hunger that caused starvation and death is being progressively timed.
Finally, think of the relative security humanity has enjoyed in the pass few decades. In the past centuries, major wars were common phenomenum. Wars that raveged Europe and Africa for many decades have almost been forgotten. Although there's are still some           in some parts of the world , thse have not been serious enough to bring about a significant change in population.
What then is the net results? Each factor translates to a healthier, safe and longer life. Consequently, our population multiples at a consistent state. So we need not be surprised that the world population is seven billion. Indeed the next quarter of a century, another billion may be added and by the end of this century we may have double the present number. But in this lies another danger that of gross over population. For example arable land   be grossly inadequate to support food production for the very large population. Also, if the population continues to grow unchecked there will be to many people who may contribute to polluting the environment. Just imagine the amount of waste that would be generated daily by homes, industries and institution. These waste and debris, if not collected regularly and disposed of properly, may lead to environmental degradation. We should therefore watch it.
