HP ElitePad 1000 G2 are a line of Windows 8.1 tablets optimised for business. The tablets are powered by Powerful quad-core Intel Atom (Bay Trail) processors and offers 64-bit support. HP ElitePad 1000 G2 tablets features a brilliant 10.1-inch touchscreen and offers Wi-Fi as well as option of 3G/HSPA+/LTE. The 64-bit tablet HP has been building Windows 8.1 tablets, but the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 will be supporting 64-bit. 64-bit tablets are faster than 32-bit tablet because, such tablets can access larger chunk of data at a time. The 64-bit support of the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 tablet is a strong draw for businesses as many organisations require devices that will enable them standadise on 64-bit images and 64-bit applications across their infrastructure. HP ElitePad 1000 G2 tablet comes with either Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit. Unlike earlier 64-bit Windows 8.1 tablets from Microsoft, the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 runs on mobile friendly Intel Atom processors, which should result in longer battery life. Specifically the tablet is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM provided. It offers 64GB or 128GB built-in storage. The beauty of the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 is that it runs the full Windows 8.1 that run on laptops and desktops and still offers you the mobility of a tablet. The tablet is available with Wi-Fi with another model offering 4G LTE with HSPA+/3G /CDMA EV-DO. It also supports a keyboard accessory as well as a desktop docking accessory for more productivity. Display & Camera HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Tablet features a brilliant 10.1-inch display with a 1900 x 1200 pixels resolution. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. HP ElitePad 1000 G2 has an 8 megapixels camera on the back with 1080p HD video recording and a 2.1 megapixels front facing camera. Price and Availability HP ElitePad 1000 G2 tablets will be available from March 2014, though we are not sure of pricing and availability for Nigeria.
