(WAEC), has Friday in Lagos released its 2016 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), withholding the results of 137,295, representing 8.89% candidates. Just as a total of eight hundred and seventy eight thousand and forty (878,040) candidates, representing 52.97%, obtained credits in five (5) subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics.” It will be recall that in 2014 and 2015 the percentage of candidates that obtained five (5) credits and above including English Language and Mathematics in the WASSCE were 31.28% and 38.68% respectively.
The Head of Nigeria National Office, Nigeria, Mr Olu Adenipekun while briefing journalists explained that the withheld results are in connection with various cases of examination malpractice, adding, “the cases are being investigated and reports of the investigations will be presented to the appropriate committee of the Council in due course for consideration.”
According to him, a total number of 1,552,758 Candidates sat for the May/June examination. Of the 1,544,234 who sat the exams, he said: ” A total of 1,014,573 candidates, representing 65.70% obtained six (6) credits and above; one million one hundred sixty seven thousand four hundred and eighty four (1,167,484) candidates, representing 75.60% obtained five (5) credits and above, while one million two hundred and eighty two thousand two hundred and four (1,282,204) candidates, representing 83.03% obtained credit and above in four (4) subjects.”
He added that one million three hundred and seventy thousand forty nine (1,370,049) candidates, representing 88.72% obtained credit and above in three (3) subjects, while one million four hundred and thirty eight thousand six hundred and seventy nine (1,438,679) candidates, representing 93.16% obtained credit and above in two (2) subjects.

What is a PIN?
The PIN stands for Personal Identification Number. In WAECDIRECT, it is a unique 10-digit or 12-digit number that is required to access the service. The service enables direct access to a candidate's results via multiple channels. The PIN is found on a valid WAECDIRECT Scratch card and is revealed when cover patch on the reverse side of the card is carefully scratched off.

How many times can I check my results?
You may check your results up to a maximum of 5 (five) times with the use of 1 (one) Scratch card. In order to check further after exhausting the allowed 5 (five) times you will need to purchase another Scratch card which will entitle you to another 5 (five) result checks.
Can I use one Scratch card to check more than one result?
No! You may only use one Scratch card to check one result. To check another result of interest, you will require a new Scratch card. ReplyDeleteHi everyone, how are you doing today, my name is BISI ADEBANJO i am from ogun state i wrote my WAEC Gc early this year at Odonguyan Grammar School with few of my friends that couldn’t afford a special center too.When the result came out, unfortunately for me i didnt pass in fact i failed woefully.I cried the day light out as a matter-of fact i was already thinking of how to get money to enroll waec again and which trade i will learn before then but i was encouraged abit when i found out my friends tolani and Jeremiah also failed so i waS like “after all am not the only one”.So one blessed day jeremiah told me about a post he saw online about one MR TUNDE and how he has helped people upgrade there results, at first i kicked against it and i told him it was one of those fraudsters. ReplyDeleteOne day, i saw a post on the internet by one michael thanking Mr.adamu on how he helped him release and upgrade his result so i called the number that was on the post and Mr.adamu the WAEC official told me not to worry and stop crying that my problems are over that he will help me release my result which to my greatest surpprise my result was release and he also upgrade my Chemistry right now am very happy and thankful to Mr.adamu and to the almighty God for leading me to my helper. so any candidate who have this same problems or want to upgrade his/her result should call Mr.adamu on his number (07011067879)Thank you very much sir and God bless
I no many people out there will be thinking that WAEC upgrade is not real, dew to some scammers on the internet who have jilted and taken their money without doing the upgrade.I was having that mindset not until I was introduced by friend to Mr Austine, who help me upgrade my WAEC 2017 gce result.even Victoria recently have been testifying of how Mr Austine helped her to release her WITHHELD result and how it was upgraded as well.so if you are having problem with your waec result contact mr Austine for your fast genuine waec upgrade. Waec upgrade is very very real if u meet the right person then you can have a good result you can contact Mr Austine on 08147291499..this information is for those who are serious with their education pls….
