According to jamb this year, the general cut off Marks for all courses/Departments in FUNAI would be 180. This was recently released in a press news. Also be aware that there would be no post utme exercise this year, as FUNAI 2017/2018 Post utme Screening exercise as previously was conducted by the FUNAI Admission board won't be holding again.

Before you start reading your FUNAI Departmental​ cut-off marks, have the knowledge that your Jamb score, together with your O'level is used in getting your aggregate departmental cut off Marks.

Alternatively this is how the FUNAI Admission screening would be determined.

• Candidates who submits only one result which contains his/her relevant subjects already will be allotted 10 points. The exam could be NECO, WASSCE, November /December WASSCE etc, but any candidate who has two sittings only gets 2 points. So this means that candidates with only one result are at an advantage but only slightly.
• O’ Level grades has it’s equivalent grade points as; A (A1) = 6 marks, B (B1, B2, B3) = 4 marks, C (C4, C5, C6) = 3 marks, so the better the candidates’ grades, the better his or her chances of securing admission this year.
• UTME scores, where each score range has its equivalent point can be summarised thus, 180-200=20-23 marks, 200-250=24-33 points, 251-300=34-43, 300-400=44-60 points.
• Each category would contain five JAMB results per point added. Eg. a candidate with 180-185 gets 20 points, while a candidate with 186-190 gets 21 points.

FUNAI 2017/2018 Admission screening Form/Exercise this year would require the following.

• O'level result (Waec, Waec gce, Neco, Neco gce, NABTEB, NABTEB GCE) No awaiting of results are acceptable.
• Jamb Registration slip (Original and photo copy
• Jamb change of course/Institution slip. In case you did a change of jamb correction data form. You have to present it during screening
• Statements of Results/Certificates, It must be Original copies of their educational qualifications.
• Birth Certification/Age Declaration.

When you've been admitted into FUNAI, you will be required to bring this along with you.

• Your secondary school testimonial report
• Secondary school living certificate
• Letter of attestation.
• A letter of good conduct from your Village Head or a responsible member of your community/or civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or equivalent in the private sector.
• Certificate of Local Government of origin
• Admission notification status slip
